  • You have sound knowledge and experience in isotope and elemental analysis as well as measurements using MC-ICP-MS.
  • We expect practical experience in a cleanroom laboratory and in the independent performance of wet-chemical sample preparation for chemical and isotopic analyses.
  • You have experience in the interpretation of archaeometric data in a cultural-historical context and in interdisciplinary collaboration, ideally in the field of archaeometallurgy
  • Ideally, you will have knowledge of geology and mineral deposits, particularly in relation to ore deposits and their characterisation
  • You have publication experience as well as initial experience with third-party funding acquisition and project coordination
  • Personally, you are characterised by enthusiasm, team orientation and a sense of responsibility
  • We expect an independent way of working (hands-on mentality) as well as scientific work as a matter of course.

Your benefits:

  • You will have access to state-of-the-art analytics and comprehensive sample archives and will be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team with an international network
  • We accompany you: Following your personal onboarding, you will receive professional job training so that you feel comfortable with us right from the start
