Louise de Palaminy is a PhD-trained archaeometrist specializing in archaeology and art history (Islamic, medieval, protohistoric). She has experience in the analysis of materials and raw materials as well as in chemical laboratory work. Her expertise includes elemental and isotopic measurements (ICP-QQQ-MS, MC-ICP-MS, laser ablation) and microscopic/spectroscopic methods. She is skilled in data analysis, scientific writing, and interdisciplinary research.
Since 2025, Louise de Palaminy has been employed as a research associate at CEZA.

Work and research focus
Archaeometric analysis of artefacts and raw materials such as metals, animal hard tissues, and textiles. Chemical laboratory work, metal digestion, and chromatographic procedures, as well as elemental and isotopic measurements using ICP-QQQ-MS, MC-ICP-MS, and laser ablation. Microscopic and spectroscopic methods for material characterization and the evaluation of complex datasets.
