Brick
Description
Bricks are an important building material in human settlements. They are available both in fired form and in dried form, as with clay bricks. Their use extends over the entire globe. They are used to build simple huts as well as complex structures.
Sample properties
For luminescence, the samples must be mountain-moist, i.e. not washed and not dried. The samples should be packed in airtight sample bags. In addition, surrounding material, such as mortar or sediment, should be enclosed, which is also still mountain-moist and has been packed airtight.
Luminescence
A brick to be dated by luminescence should be about the size of a cup, the surrounding material should be able to fill a cup.
