From 2009 to 2015, Martin Riesenberg studied Pre- and Protohistoric Archaeology and Palaeoanthropology at the Eberhard Karls University of T\u00fcbingen. He completed his doctorate in 2023 at the Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin and its associated Berlin Graduate School for Ancient Studies. During his studies, he was involved in archaeological field campaigns in Germany, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Osteoarchaeological analyses – using isotopes, among other things – of the way of life, in particular subsistence, nutrition and mobility of humans and animals in pre-modern societies.
